I just moved the source out for the case I needed, and will be forced to keep working that way till you fix it.
You want ppl to be free to make original sources on Slack and not worry if they need to copy paste it to another system later on. You forced users to keep the source in google-doc/email/anywhere else - and just the copy into Slack. What you have done now has exactly the opposite of what you want. Locking content down is not the way to go. (I am on Mac w/ Slack desktop, and copy from Slack on web was only copying text) If you had an idea to prevent users from getting out of Slack, then you are already doing your best to prevent them from moving out by having a very good overall product which you have done awesomely. I see that copy from gmail/gdoc into Slack works smoothly.
